Introduction

To have a Qarma account, Qarma needs to receive order information from the customer. To get started Qarma recommends getting this in an Excel or CSV file. On along run we aim for an automatic data flow from you as a customer to your Qarma account. Qarma can receive/pick up data in various ways such as data integrations with customer ERP, PLM etc., For data integrations you can always read more here.

Flows of data

A flow of the automated data integration could look like shown below, where we can store information in look-up tables based on different systems or API calls.

To begin the pilot phase, we would need a temporary data setup from Excel. This ensures that we have orders in the system before showcasing the new account created for you. The data will be removed once the automated data integration is set up. The flow for the Excel data import is shown below.

Data fields

The data file have a few data fields that are mandatory for the Qarma team to be able to build an account. However the system is very generic and can handle much more data then only the mandatory fields. Below is an example of the data structure and requirements for a data file to Qarma.

If you want to have a closer look at the screenshot above or simply see three examples of how a data import in Excel could look like, please see attached file.
