You can define custom status text to be used for production unit status. This can be used to differentiate between active and in-active suppliers, and it can also be used to represent steps in an onboarding process.
To change the status, go to the production unit page and click the Change status button:
This will reveal the possibilities to select from, in this case we have defined two different in-active statuses and two to represent steps in an onboarding process:

In order to change status of a production unit, the user's role need to have the Change production unit status permission.
