Introduction

This guide demonstrates how to use the AI powered checklist feature in Qarma. Using AI algorithms and historical data, Qarma can generate dynamic checkpoints highlighting recent issues, making your checklists more intelligent and dynamic.

AI generated checkpoints are derived from past defects, using both the item number, product category or features, severity and qty affected, and the supplier as context.

Applying AI checkpoints

AI generated checkpoints are activated at checklist level. This means you decide which checklists should use AI by enabling the feature individually. To apply AI checkpoints, simply click the icon shown below:

Once AI checkpoints have been enabled for a checklist, you're all set. The AI generated checkpoints will automatically be applied to any inspections using that checklist. These checkpoints will be marked with a dedicated icon, making them easy to identify. Each one is generated based solely on your historical data and will include reference images from past defects to clearly illustrate what was previously found.

This feature must be activated by Qarma. If you would like it enabled for your account, please contact support at support@qarmainspect.com or reach out to your Qarma representative.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How does it work for combined inspections?

It will consider data for all items in the combined inspection and suggest general checkpoints based on the history of all items.

Why are there no checkpoints generated?

If there is not a big enough history of defects for the supplier in question, there will not be any checkpoints generated.

Why is the option to add AI checkpoints missing in my view?

This feature must be activated by Qarma. If you would like it enabled for your account, please contact support at support@qarmainspect.com or reach out to your Qarma representative.

How does it work for order-level checkpoints?

If you are using the feature to set checkpoint status on order-level, you should not use the AI checkpoints. Since it will create different checkpoints for different items, it will break the ability to work on order-level checkpoints.

Why is the wording different from time to time?

The AI algorithm is using generative AI models which are not deterministic. This means that given the same input, it may generate different text from time to time.

Are the checkpoints translated?

Yes. The checkpoints will be auto-translated into the languages that are used in the rest of the checklist.
