Introduction
In Qarma, you can include all the users and suppliers you need within the system without any additional costs for the number of users or suppliers in our Quality module. Access to information is managed through roles and access control, ensuring that users can only view what they're meant to see. This helps protect sensitive information— for example, a supplier can only view inspections related to their own factories.
Roles and Access Control
Access in Qarma is determined by user roles and permissions. When getting started with Qarma, it's important to identify who from the customer team will take on the following roles:
- Project Manager
- Data Manager
- QC Manager
- Supplier/QC/Third party
Therefore its crucial that the customer knows who needs to be part of the pilot and what role/permission should they have inside Qarma.
To create users inside Qarma below information is needed:
- First name
- Last name
- Role
When a Qarma Account is built for a customer, its always built with following standard roles:
However Qarma can be customized on the roles and permissions pr. customer.
Furthermore it is possible to limit access to inspections based on groups. A user can have a group (or several). The groups can be created when importing order data based on, as an example, country of origin. All suppliers in Qarma will have their own group. Therefore access can be limited through those supplier groups as well. Access control in Qarma can be customized to the level that the customer needs in their processes and organization.
