Introduction
Audit & Supplier Compliance is a supply chain tool, used to collect, validate and manage supplier and production unit data. In this tool, suppliers and production units have individual pages, made up of data fields. Data fields are the place where you store required information about suppliers and production units. This may be basic information such as address and contact information, but can also be information about activities, certifications, energy mix and so forth.
Custom Fields for Production Unit Card
In Qarma it is possible to store information related to production units and production units. It is entirely customizable, meaning the fields in the example are not set in stone, but can be changed to fit the data and information you would like to store.
It is possible to have different list of data fields and information for suppliers and production units. An example of this could be only having "Address" and "Contact information" for the supplier, but the entire list for production units.
You also have the option to have specific documents added to the production Unit page. To learn more about Supplier Documents, please visit this link.
Structure of custom information
In Qarma, four different types of data can exist as custom fields for suppliers and production units. These are:
- Text: Free text field.

If you’d like predefined custom fields for your production unit data or need a best-practice setup, we have created a standard version for reference. See the attached document for details.
Data input to Qarma
You can import production unit data into Qarma using Excel or system integration if you already have the information. This process involves setting up a data integration to update all production units in the system with your desired custom fields.
If you do not have the information on your production units, we recommend sending out audits to your production units through Qarma. That information can be saved and inputted directly into the production unit custom fields.
