If one inspector has started the inspection, it can be re-assigned and completed by another inspector.
Go to the Edit page of the inspection on the web site
(search, e.g. PO number and click Edit).
Here you will see the inspection has an In progress label. Click and press Reassign to assign it to another user:
If the inspection is a combined inspection, click View combined inspection:
Select the inspection you want to reassign and click the In progress label. Next, click on Reassign to assign another user:
Note the following:
- Pictures, comments, and defects made by the first inspector will be downloaded to the second inspector's device when downloading the inspection.
This means it is possible to continue the inspection where the previous inspector left off.
- In the report, the inspector's name will be the inspector who ended the inspection.
